Mind you, our stay in Hong Kong wasn’t totally a vacation; part of the work aspect meant cruising through Victoria Harbor at sunset so Chris could check on some official business. That ended up being one of my favorite things we did! First we had a pierside beer while we waited for our boat. Tough work, that. Then we were the only two people on the topside of the boat watching the buildings slide along the coastline port (left) side until the ships materialized ahead on the smoggy horizon, profiled against the distant Lantau Island. Work InterludeThe sun set and a silver thumbnail of a waxing gibbous moon had its brief moment of illuminated glory before being drowned out by the visual cacophony of lights that is Hong Kong at night.
