Sea Life Park

Sea Life Park with friends! We’ve never stayed for the 2pm dolphin and penguin show before. The kids loved getting splashed by the dolphin, and I liked the penguins’ theme music. After it was all over, the dolphin did a few slow laps around the tank again. “Aaaaaand now we’re back to looking sad,” Jess said.

The parakeet aviary is my favorite part of Sea Life Park. Isaac got pooped on four different times…I guess that’s lucky? Seemed gross to me.

We’ve tried to stay busy since all the family left, but we may have overdone it: race! Movie! Sea Life Park! Costco! Waikiki pool with friends! Eloise got home and crawled into bed on her own. Poor tired kids!

“Can we watch the waves crash on the rocks? Just for a little bit?” Isaac asked. I love sharing Hawaii with these kiddos. Especially here, right across the water from the Makapu’U Lighthouse, where I thought I’d died and gone to the prettiest place I could ever imagine the first time I came here.
