Contamination—no one’s friend. Coming from the epicenter of American swine flu outbreaks…or anywhere in the States…is cause for full on anti-outbreak procedures. Everyone on our flight from San Francisco into Narita airport had to fill out these health questionnaires, which included:
“Please check any of the following symptoms: Mucus, Rhinostenosis, Sore throat, Cough.
The situation in the voyage: Have you ever contact with the person who had fever or cough? Yes, No.
The question mentioned above is a thing to protect you and a family.”
“This document is to certify that you have passed quarantine inspection. You are requested to show this document to the immigration office. For Travelers stayed in any country where Pandemic Influenza occurs. The nearest Health care Center may request you to confirm or report your health conditions, etc. Please kindly respond to the request. If you have any symptoms such as coughing, you are requested to wear a mask for preventing the spread of infection. These requests are made to protect you as well as your family.”
Woo hoooooo! I passed! I might frame our certificates. Or post them on the front door….
