Style Tip

Pottery Barn’s September 2008 catalogue has this Style Tip: “For a fresh look in the bedroom, break away from the convention of matching furniture suites by mixing an iron bed with a wood side table (page 13).”

I’d like to point out that Chris and I have an iron bed frame that we got in Ikea’s ‘as is’ section for a cool $80 (vs. Pottery Barn’s Kyra Iron Bed: $799+$150S&H) and have been using free wooden wine boxes as nightstands since we got married two years ago (vs. PB’s Adelle Bedside Table: $199 ea.+$20S&H). Get hip, Pottery Barn!
