I like ‘High Times in the Tidewater’ posts because it’s a nice way to recap. It reflects the natural ebb and flow of life…and blogging.
Low—I’m reading a gripping book during normal blogging minutes. No posts!
High—I have a deadline to upload these pictures because they’re hogging all the space on my phone and I need to offload them. Four posts at once!
Low—nobody wants to read about the frustrating, administrative phone calls i have to make because NOTHING IS WORKING. Nothing to inspire a post except 5,000 cute photos of pigtails.
High—wait, only three read my blog anyway! ha ha! That never stops me! (Thanks Mom! Thanks Hannah!)
Isaac is doing great on his bike. He rode our whole two-mile loop the other day. “Send my picture to Dad!”
When my parents were here, my mom and I toted Eloise around the ODU campus in the chariot and had coffee at Borjo.
We went to a delightful birthday party at the zoo for Michael and Ellie, where all the kids got to touch a tortoise, gecko, millipede, and something related to an elephant that looks like a porcupine. Happy birthday, Compound Kids!
Also with my folks a couple weeks ago we went to ROARchestra—the Virginia Symphany Orchestra performing at the zoo! I found out about it when researching my and Chris’ last big date, where we ate at Monastery Restaurant and attended the season opening of the symphany across the street.
I also found these adorable birthday photos. This makes me a little sad. So I better go to bed.
