We hiked past an Indian burial ground on our hike with the Indian River lakes Conservancy in Theresa, NY. Some artists were painting en plein air.
From there, we followed the Marshes (of Home Again Farm) to the Indian River dam, which generates enough power to make power cheap in Theresa. That was cool. Isaac and Pa skipped rocks while we admired the glacial dump of assorted rock colors now native to the riverbed.
Around hikes, we fattened up in the Marshes’ dangerously delicious kitchen. It rained, so we stayed in…and ate. And ate. And looked at the alpacas. And ate. If you would like to bust your diet in the best way possible, enjoy Mrs. Marsh’s pumpernickel bread with horseradish and cheddar, broiled. Yuuuuuum.
