Up in the Air

It is a good idea to have a carefully planned itinerary when you are setting off across oceans and continents and passing through more than half the world’s timezones. Or not. Wish me luck–I’m trusting my fate to Space A. If all goes well I’ll be in San Diego in a few days, hopefully with a Hawaiian shirt! This was going to be about what I packed, but I forget and I need to leave!! This other picture is the runway an hour after it stopped sleeting this week. Tendrils of steam rose off the runway as the temperature climbed about 20 degrees in an afternoon. The sky was like, “Too much rain. Can I get a refund?”
