These Japanese vocab lessons I listen to have this pleasant Japanese lady’s voice come in every once in awhile and say in crisp, clipped English, “And here’s a little challenge for you: how do you tell the taxi driver, ‘Please take me to Tokyo?'” Then a voice that sounds like my brother, Simon, with a British accent says, “Let’s see, in Japanese you literally say, ‘Tokyo go to please,’ so that would be, “Tokyo e itte kudesai.” And Pleasant Japanese Lady says, “That’s correct.” And the music plays a daa-chhh-daa-da-chhh and fades into the next chapter. Anywho, so here’s your little challenge: name this plant! What the heck?
Phoenix C. says
It is a passion flower (Passiflora caerulea). Beautiful plant! There are some with a deeper blue, which this may be looking at the colour on your photo.
