I guess it was a mistake? I mean, Hawaii has some historical reference for 8am attacks but maybe I overreacted by running around closing all the windows. No, that’s what we’re supposed to do I think. The pancakes burned on the stove while Chris and I stuck our heads out the window and wondered why the air raid sirens were silent.
Within about 10 minutes we got word it was a mistake, but sheesh, that got my heart going. It took 45 minutes to get the all-clear alert.
Maybe someone’s button is so big he accidentally almost bumped us off. The warning never said where the missile was coming from….
“Well, I’m glad we didn’t die,” Chris said. “Let’s open the window.”
“Why do you wish we didn’t die?” Isaac said. “Then we could go to Heaven. But I don’t really want to leave our house.”
Just another morning here in paradise! The pancakes weren’t even that burnt.
