This better shows the procession in Sevilla, but is…sideways. Hannie and I munched on blueberries and chocolates in this courtyard between the Roman baths and Bath Abbey while this guitarist played along with a rather elaborate recorded accompaniment.
The big tough guards assembled and played…Over the Rainbow…?? That was not what I expected, but it had just started to rain, so maybe it works. Here’s the actual changing of the guard part. This was kind of boring but the shufflaly-shuffaly-shuffle made us laugh.
It was silent on top of the rock except for millions of seagulls circling in the updraft. All these baby monkeys were launching themselves off of the rock and each other — one almost ran over my toe! this is after the incident below, so we did not in fact try to smuggle any down.
