About 80 percent of the buds have opened into blossoms along the stream between Sakuragaoka (Hill of Cherry Blossoms) and my place. Many trees are 100 percent fluffed out as if hundreds of bunnies were living in the tree tops. Bare branches barely starting to bud in some stretches brings the average bloomrate down.
Photos of the stream by my house in all seasons are available for sale down at the pedestrian bridge. Here, the photographer is admiring his handiwork!
“If one should enquire of you concerning the spirit of a true Japanese, point to the wild cherry blossom shining in the sun.”

I really, really want to come visit (all hopes of being stationed over there are pretty much gone since Aaron doesn’t want to fly 46s) š Your pictures are just gorgeous!
